Zero Sievert: Gun Name Replacer (GNR)

The Zero Sievert: Gun Name Replacer, or Zero Sievert: GNR, 

is a small standalone mod program for the game Zero Sievert.

Currently, only for Windows.

Still in development, but bug free.

What Can It do?

It can replace the weapon names in the Zero Sievert files from an easier to edit text file with Weapon names.

These text files can be reused, stored and applied without risk of accidentally changing data in Zero Sievert.

How does it do it?

1. It generates a text file containing all weapons and their names from Zero Sievert.
2. It can then take that text file and change the weapon names in Zero Sievert.

The text files are easier to edit for the user and there is no risk as the program will only edit the names of items existing in Zero Sievert.

It also notifies you if there are unrecognized weapon entries in your text file.

Or if the game has weapons that are missing from your list.

Quick use:

1. Enter game path.
2. Generate name file.
3. Edit weapon names in file.
4. Import names into Zero Sievert.

How do I use it?

Generating a new file and importing.

1. Supply a file path to the location Zero Sievert folder game on your PC.
2. (Optional) Supply a file path for the generated name file. Defaults to the folder of the GNR.
3. Generate the name file by pressing the "Generate Name File" button.
4. Now change the weapon names, on the right-hand side, to your liking.
5. Import the names into Zero Sievert by pressing the "Import Name File" button.

Using an existing name file.

1. Supply a file path to the location Zero Sievert folder game on your PC.
   
2. Supply a file path for existing name file. Include file name.
3. Import the names into Zero Sievert by pressing the "Import Name File" button.

Why did I make it?

Future proofing, safety and ease of use. The program only edits the gun names it finds in zero sievert and leaves all other information untouched. So there is no danger of old copied in data overwriting newer data.

And the small text files are easier for the user to edit to their liking.

Saved User Settings

The Program saves user settings in:

"%appdata%\Godot\app_userdata\Zero Sievert GNR\config.cfg"
